Dr. Jody Law, MD

Dr. Law is a PGY-1 at the Stanford Orthopaedic Residency Program. Dr. Law chose the field of orthopaedic surgery because she finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to apply her knowledge of anatomy in the operating room and improve a patient’s quality of life.

In her free time, Dr. Law enjoys playing tennis, exploring new restaurants, and traveling abroad.

Dr. Kevin Wang, MD

Dr. Kevin Wang is a PGY-1 at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Wang chose orthopaedic surgery because orthopaedic disease and treatment is unique in that they are fundamentally grounded in biomechanics and physics. In orthopaedics, we are able to use biomechanical principles and surgical tools to alter the biomechanics of human motion to help alleviate pain and restore function to patients.

A fun fact about Dr. Wang is that he mined Bitcoin in college using their free university internet servers.

Dr. Avilash Das, MD

Dr. Avilash Das is a PGY-2 at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences Residency Program. Dr. Wang chose orthopaedic surgery because it offered the most direct and tangible impact on a patient’s quality of life. Although most orthopedic injuries and conditions aren’t life-threatening, giving a patient the tools to walk without pain or dress and feed themselves independently is certainly life-changing.

Dr. Das is a huge cat person, enjoys cooking, loves to watch anime, and boxes in his free time.

Dr. Tucker Peabody, DO

Dr. Tucker Peabody is a PGY-2 at the Doctors Hospital Ohio Health Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Peabody decided to go into orthopaedic surgery because he is able to practice in a team-like environment where he can utilize his hands and numerous surgical techniques to see immediate results that are beneficial towards patients.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Peabody was a high school science teacher and former D-1 All-American and professional track athlete.

Dr. Suzanne Kent, MD

Dr. Suzanne Kent is a PGY-3 at Tufts Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Kent chose orthopaedics because she broke her wrist snowboarding in the sixth grade and got an amazing pink cast.

In her free time, Dr. Kent loves walking and spending time with her dog.

Dr. Danny Lee, MD

Dr. Danny Lee is a PGY-3 at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Lee chose this field because orthopaedic surgeons helped his grandmother walk again, and he wanted to be able to have a similar impact on the lives of others. Using his hands to directly improve a patient’s quality of life is an element of the field that greatly appeals to him. Dr. Lee is hoping to pursue a fellowship in spine surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Lee loves going to the movies and live concerts with friends.
